As I mentioned before, I would post unrelated political themes to add a little variety to my blog. Now, the Beijing Olympic 2008 opening ceremony, was absolutely one of the best I have a ever come across. All the actual footage has been taken down, but I managed to find some videos that show pictures from the opening ceremony. From these pictures alone you can tell how much time and energy was spent into making this such a fantastic moment! And indeed it surely was. If you haven't seen it, go to a friend's or relative's house. It was absolutely astonshing, I mean it really was. My favorite parts were the drummers (2008 of them!), the tai chi performers, and towards the end, the torch carrier scene! I absolutely loved it! Wonderful, just wonderful!
